Niesamowite, najważniejsze wydarzenie kartingowe na świecie właśnie dobiegło końca. Iwo awansował do ścisłego finału tej sportowej, sygnowanej przez FIA motoryzacyjnej imprezy. Bardzo dobra postawa podczas wyścigów owocowała świetnymi wynikami na mecie. Z ponad setki kierowców do finału awansowało zaledwie 36. Po super finale, który polski kierowca ukończył na miejscu 13, awansował do finału i ruszył z szóstej linii. Przez siedemnaście okrążeń toczył zaciętą walkę i na mecie zameldował się na miejscu 17. W klasyfikacji generalnej sezonu uplasował się na 20. miejscu.
